Dr. Wells received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, and went on to complete his internship and residency at St. Joseph Medical Center. He completed his fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Surgery at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He is board-certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. His special areas of interest include Aortic Surgery, Endovascular Surgery, Minimally Invasive Aortic Surgery, Minimally Invasive Mitrial Valve Repair, and Mitrial Valve Repair.
