Dr. Obney received his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio. He completed his internship and residency at Brooke Army Medical Center, where he also completed his cardiothoracic surgery fellowship. He is board-certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. His special interests include Aortic Surgery, Coronary Revascularization, Mitral Valve Repair, and Lung Surgery.
