Dr. Yao received her medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine, and completed her internship and residency at Northwestern University. She went on to complete her fellowship at Rush University Medical Center in Clinical Neurophysiology. She is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology.
