Dr. Cardwell received his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine, and his internship and residency at Ohio State University Hospitals. He went on to complete fellowships in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology. His special areas of interest include Congestive Heart Failure, General Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Peripheral Vascular Disease, and Valvular Heart Disease.
