Your Next Appointment

Your next visit to Mount Carmel Medical Group may look a little different. Here’s what you need to know.

What to do if you have COVID-19 Symptoms

If you have a fever and or symptoms of upper respiratory illness, including dry cough or shortness of breath or have been in close contact with a person known to have COVID-19, please call your primary care office. Your symptoms will be reviewed by a provider who will recommend the next steps of your treatment. If it's a life-threatening emergency, call 9-1-1.

Your Next Appointment

We all know how critical regular appointments are and we’re here to provide you the right care option, when you need it most. Before your next appointment or when scheduling your appointment, our office will discuss how/where you will receive your care (in-person, over the phone, or via a video appointment).

In-Person Visit

Our offices will continue to welcome patients without COVID-19 symptoms for scheduled appointments. If your provider asks you to come in for an in-person visit, you can be confident that we are taking every necessary precaution to make our offices the safest environment possible. That’s also why we won’t be allowing visitors in any of our facilities for the time being. Some exceptions will be made for extenuating circumstances.

Over The Phone

If your scheduled appointment can be handled via phone, we’ll ask you to provide the best phone number to reach you. We’ll try to make sure your phone conversation takes place within a 15-minute window of your appointment time.

Video Appointments

Our primary and specialty care offices are also equipped to handle secure, face-to-face video appointments for our patients.
